In the Name of Architecture

The primary mission of ITNOA is to connect different fields of architecture. Focussing on Vienna in the past years itnoa managed to get the three architecture schools together for the first time to organize a one week event in front of the opera house in 2008. For 2011 the aim is to get people with other (academic/artistic) backgrounds involved.

ITNOA 2008 – 2009 – 2011
ITNOA is an architecture foundation established by ten students in 2007. For its first project, ITNOA organised the 2008 exhibition in Vienna that brought professors, assistants and students from all three architecture universities together in a windy underpass to discuss today’s challenges in architecture.

The 2009 exhibition turned its focus from a more holistic viewpoint to a narrower one – the students and how they see their university. For 2011, a new group of architecture students got together to organize another event in public space.

ITNOA today
ITNOA is now a group with a strong focus on architectural theory and related fields.
